I mix demos, singles, EPs and albums. You can send me tracks from anywhere, whether they were recorded here or elsewhere.

The catalog lists the productions I've mixed: mostly rock, alternative, pop and indie, plus singer-songwriter, Austrian dialect music, metal and folk.

How I mix

I work hybrid: the API The Box 2 and analog preamps and EQs on the patchbay, combined with plugins in the computer. I listen in the acoustically treated control room.

Sending your tracks

Individual tracks as WAV, 24 or 32 bit, 44.1 or 48 kHz
All tracks with the same start and end point
Higher sample rates by arrangement

Send them with whatever transfer service you like. I recommend Swisstransfer.

Editing

If I'm only mixing, the tracks should arrive fully edited. Small fixes I take care of during a revision. Bigger editing jobs, like vocal edits and tuning, we agree on up front, because the effort varies a lot. What's needed usually becomes clear in our first conversation. If I record the tracks and then mix them, editing is included.

Process and timing

You send me the tracks, and we talk about what you have in mind. Unless we agree otherwise, you'll get the first mix within 3 to 4 days. Mix versions and your notes on them go through Mixup. I make the changes you ask for, or we talk through alternatives. If you like, we can also go through the revisions together at the studio.

Revisions

I don't count revisions. The mix is done when it feels right to you, and until then we keep at it. If a request goes beyond what we agreed on, I'll let you know before I start on it.

Delivery

Finished mixes reach you via Swisstransfer. The stereo mix is standard. Alternate versions such as instrumental, a cappella or TV mix, as well as stems, are available by arrangement. Mastering can be done here or at another studio.
